NBYSA Spring 2013 Season Updates Coach and Player Training Session with Neal Ellis
Neal Ellis, Director of Coaching with South Texas Youth Soccer Association ("STYSA") will be coming out to the HEB Fields once again next Tuesday, April 23rd, to conduct coaches and player training session. We are asking coaches, players and parents to take advantage of this opportunity. Sessions will include a coaching discussion in preparation of a player training session. Neal, along with NBYSA coach participation will conduct a 45 minute coaching session with NBYSA players. Coaches will have the opportunity to enhance their training sessions through prooven methods in conducting organized training sessions focused on teaching soccer techniques and skills to promote individual and team growth in the fundamentals of soccer. Upon conclusion of the coaching session, Neal will hold a meeting with parents and coaches to review the session and answer questions. All NBYSA Coaches are encouraged to attend these sessions...as this is a great opportunity for coaches, parents, and players alike. Clinic will be conducted Tuesday, April 23, 2013 out at the HEB Fields Session #1 with U5 & U6 5:00pm U5 & U6 Coaches meeting to go over the session 5:15pm Session with Players & Coaches 6:00pm Coach & Parent meeting Session #2 with U7 - U10 6:15pm U7 - U10 Coaches meeting to go over the sessions 6:30pm Session with Players & Coaches 7:15pm Coach & Parent meeting We look forward to seeing everyone on the 23rd!! In order for you to coach in the upcoming season, you will need to log into GotSoccer, according the instructions provided, update and complete the information on your profile and submit the background check. If you have coached in the past, you should have received an email with your log in information. If you are wanting to coach for the 1st time, please contact Jen Carr so she can set up an account for you. With this new system, there is no way for a board member or administrator to do this step for you, so if you do not complete it, you will not be able to coach for NBYSA or NB Ajax. Important Dates: Rec Division IV Season Starts 03/02/13 Picture weekend: 3/02/13 and 3/09/13 Rec Division IV Season Ends 05/11/13 PARKING AT HEB: Parking at the HEB fields has been increased and NB Parks has asked us to make sure that nobody is parking on any grassy area. This includes the area within the park and along Live Oak Street. NB PD will issue parking tickets for violators. Thank You for your cooperation. |
